Write down: who has this problem, what triggers it, how they currently deal with it, and what a solution would be worth to them. If you can't answer these questions clearly, you're not ready to build yet.
List every feature you think the MVP needs. Then cut it in half. Then cut it in half again. What remains is probably still too much. Ask: if the product only did ONE thing, what would it be? That's your MVP scope.
No-code (Bubble, Webflow, Glide) — fastest for simple apps, no coding required. AI-assisted coding (Claude Code, Cursor) — fast for simple software, requires some technical comfort. Freelancer — reliable but slower and more expensive. DIY coding — full control but slowest for non-technical founders.
Before building each feature, ask: who specifically will use this, and what will they do with it? Build for one real person, not an imaginary average user. If you can get a potential customer to give you feedback during the build — do it.
Find 10 people who match your target customer and give them early access. Observe how they use it (don't explain — watch). Ask what confused them and what was missing. Fix the biggest issues, then launch publicly.
